We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in this city. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Grand Central station and right in Midtown. It was very convenient for us to explore the city center and we loved being near the Manchester pub. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a stunning lounge/kitchen and a comfortable separate bedroom. The staff were excellent, always kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the fact that it had a full kitchen equipped with everything we needed.
Nothing to complain about at all.

A GREAT selection restaurants to eat close by, like sparks steak house that was only 10 minutes' walk away. A kitchen was a big plus. Very suitable for family.

Dine at Comfort Diner, which is located within 300 feet from the hotel. Nice place to stay in New York City, no reason to complain

Obviously the designer has lived in a city. In nyc, small spaces are part of the experoence, but tHis room had everything we needed and we were a family of five (traveling with two cots!). I would absolutely stay here or any aka property again.

The AKA U.N. is one of the best value-for-price hotels in the city. For the cost of a modest room at a more famous hotel you're given a spacious one-bdr apartment with full kitchen, great closet space and ammenities. The hotel is immaculate, contemporary in design, and the staff is outstanding: professional, friendly, relaxed; they make you feel at home. A good choice for a night, a great choice for an extended stay.
Flatscreen TVs would be more in keeping with the look of the rooms. Also, LR should have a remote phone as does bedroom (LR has a wall-mounted kitchen phone only; inconvenient when doing business).

Spent Easter in a comfortable apartment hotel, complete with kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas, at a reasonable price. Proximity to the train station and local shops was key. The daily coffee and gym access made our stay all the more enjoyable.
On our fifth day, a damp and musty smell appeared, and the air conditioner wasn't able to warm the room as the temperature dropped. The cleaner only came once a week, which was a problem with the smell.

It was very relaxing stay; the facilities in the room were very sufficient.
The room cleaning has to be more than one time in a week.

Very pleasant and accomodating staff. Close to United Nations building, Grand Central station, Empire state building.
We had only 2 problems with this hotel. 1. aka website states that the apartment has "spectacular" views which is absolutely not the case. The views that we had were just of the next building. This may be the case for all Manhattan apartment/hotels but the aka should withdraw their claim of "stunning" views. The "view" from the room was particularly important to us and we and specifically requested this at the time of booking and were dissapointed to find that there was little to see from the apartment. 2. It would be much better if the sofa in the lounge woud instead be a sofabed.

During our stay at AKA - UN, we were delighted with the spacious and modern apartment. The separate living and bedroom allowed for privacy and comfort. The bathroom was of a good size and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was excellent, with easy access to various attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a pleasant stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the noise from the heating plumbing and lack of breakfast, we would highly recommend AKA - UN for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city. we were very satisfied with our experience.

I stayed in a one-bedroom suite and I had everything I could need for a 1-week stay. The location was excellent for my meetings and the personnel - especially the reception - was very accommodating and nice. Also, since I was there at a less busy time for the location, the price quality was excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Midtown and just a short walk from Grand Central station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and visiting all the famous landmarks. The staff here were exceptional, from the friendly and professional front office representatives to the attentive and kind personnel. They made us feel so welcome and ensured that our needs were always met. The room itself was luxurious, with a comfortable bed, spacious sitting area, and even a patio with great views. We also appreciated the amenities like the fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen, and free coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. this place offers great value for the price and we'll definitely be staying here again in the future.
We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

Had a great time during my New Year's stay in Manhattan! Loved the complimentary breakfast and gym, which were perfect to start my days. Also, the hotel location was key, just a short walk to everything I wanted to see and do. The room was very modern and comfortable, and I also enjoyed the laundry facilities – super handy!
Honestly, cannot think of any negative aspects of my stay. It was a great start to the new year, and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel.
